If not for a finish of some sort, any concrete garage floor will certainly become unattractive through stains and cracks.

You have to have some kind of carpeting in your Home, at least in my opinion. Even luxury homes that have hardwood, bamboo, tile, or stone floors also have area rugs that serve as a substitute for wall to wall carpet. If you’re like me at all, you definitely prefer to have carpet on your bedroom floor at least, as it is a lot more pleasant to step on carpeting in the morning then it is to step on a cold wood or stone floor.

No other floor covering can surpass the beauty of stone flooring whether it is made from marble, granite, limestone, slate or the artificially made terrazzo. They all have a natural beauty that exudes richness. The alternatives; carpets, linoleum, laminates, wood and ceramic tiles are often cheaper and most people know how to care for them and maintain them. However they eventually wear out or otherwise become damaged and have to be replaced. Natural stone flooring should last for several lifetimes if properly cared for and maintained and provides you with that luxury feeling.

It would not make very much sense to compare smaller garage floor mats that are typically not sold in packages that are intended to cover an entire garage floor to epoxy paint.
